ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights
Alistair delivered the second and final two day workshop on The employment relationship in the UAE in Abu Dhabi to enable candidates on the open programme to complete the modules required to upgrade their certificate qualification to a diploma.
David spent 5 days in the Netherlands delivering Leadership and Management workshops for a European organisation.
Alistair ran a two day pilot workshop on Performance review skills in Dubai. Afterwards the client said “I’d like to thank you for your support throughout this pilot course. The course went really well and our delegates were very happy with Alistair as a trainer. They appreciated his vast knowledge on the subject and loved how interactive he made the course. Thank you Alistair.”
Rhyan and David have been in Rome this month for an international charity. David delivered a two day workshop on Competency based recruitment and Rhyan a two day workshop on Workforce planning.
The UK CLDP programme continued with Alistair running the final workshop on Developing coaching skills in the workplace.
Pam delivered a four day workshop in Kuwait on Time and self management
Alistair flew to Moscow to deliver the first set of modules for a new Certificate in learning and development programme. The delegates will attend two further workshops to complete the remaining modules in February and June.
In the UK the second cohort Advanced level in talent development (AALTD) has continued with Alistair during a two day workshop.
The second one day workshop on Recruitment and selection skills was held in Helsinki with David.
Alistair and Rhyan rolled out a global sales assessment process for a team of sales trainers from a large global FMCG organisation. The results of these assessments will be used to provide targeted training for the team.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights
The UK CLDP programme continued with David running the penultimate workshop on Evaluating L&D activities.
Rhyan delivered a three day workshop on Effective HR management in Oil and Gas to a delegation of Russians. The workshop was held in London.
Alistair delivered a one day workshop on Performance management and recruitment in London which was attended by delegation of Chinese from an aviation company.
David ran a two day workshop in Rome on Competency based recruitment.
The third cohort of HR Managers on a CHRP programme in Abu Dhabi started this month with Rhyan delivering a two day workshop on Introduction and developing yourself as an effective HR practitioner.
A two day workshop on Competency based recruitment was held in Saudi Arabia with David.
Alistair delivered a three day workshop on Kuwaitization and talent management in Kuwait.
The Employee engagement for Store managers roll out has continued this month with Alistair delivering workshops in Dartford, London, Sheffield and Bristol.
David travelled to Uganda to deliver the first of 2 modules for a Certificate in HR practice programme which ran over 5 days topics covered were, Introduction and developing yourself as a HR practitioner, Understanding organizations and the role of HR, Recording, analyzing and using HR information and Contributing to job analysis.
The second cohort of HR Managers for the CHRP programme in Abu Dhabi continued this month with Alistair delivering a one day workshop on Reward management.
A Graduation Ceremony was held at the InterContinental Hotel for the cohort of Abu Dhabi HR Managers who have successfully completed the Diploma in HR practice programme. The welcome address was given by Karen McMillan (Client Development Director at CIPD) Alistair gave a presentation on Building HR Capability in the Middle East through CIPDE qualifications and a Keynote address was made by Colin Johansen (Mentor and Trainer – Talent 2) on The challenges ahead – the world of HR.

David returned to Saudi Arabia for the second time this month to deliver a four day workshop on Performance management.
Alistair stepped in at short notice to run the second module of a fast track CHRP CHRP programme in Reigate, Surrey for five days.
Pam has been in Qatar for five days facilitating an in-house communication improvement workshop.

Rhyan spent three days in Belgium observing and giving feedback to the customer service team following their recent coaching and support sessions.

Pam took part in a Strategic Human Capability Development and HR in Oil and Gas Event in Dubai by delivering a 1 day workshop on Talent Management.
Alistair delivered a 3 day workshop on Qatarization and Talent management in Qatar.
A Recruitment and selection skills one day workshop was held in Helskini, Finland with David delivering the training.
The second cohort of HR Managers for the CHRP programme in Abu Dhabi continued with Rhyan delivering a one day workshop on Performance Management.
David joint facilitated a large group who were attending a one day Succession planning workshop in Egypt.
Rhyan delivered a three day workshop on HR Strategies in Telecoms in Dubai.
The Employee engagement for Store managers roll out has continued this month with Alistair delivering workshops in Birmingham, London, Liverpool, Sheffield, Darlington and Reading. David also delivered a second workshop in London.
David travelled to Sweden to deliver a one day workshop on HR as a business partner.

Pam has spent a number of days this month reviewing trainers delivering Performance management training for the Engineering & Construction division of a large oil and gas company in the Middle East.

September has been a busy month following the August holiday season.
Alistair delivered the final two day workshop in the certificate programme for a major Abu Dhabi bank on Supporting change in organizations.
David – has continued the Managing employees effectively programme this month, delivering workshops in London, Birmingham and Reading.
The UK CLDP programme continued with a workshop on Delivering L&D activities with Alistair.
Rhyan – has been in Rome delivering a two day workshop on Effective policies and procedures.
A pilot programme on Employee engagement for Store managers was successfully run in Reading by Alistair and has been followed by the start of the roll out programme which will run through October.
David travelled to Nairobi to deliver a two day workshop on HR as a business partner.
The second cohort on the open modular certificate in HR practice programme in Abu Dhabi continued with Alistair delivering the workshop on Job Analysis.
Rhyan delivered a two day workshop on Coaching in Abu Dhabi to enable candidates on the open programme to upgrade their certificate qualification to a diploma.
In the UK the Advanced Award Level in Talent Development (AALTD) continues with Alistair.
Following the successful completion of the certificate programme for HR Managers in Abu Dhabi the candidates are completing an additional module on coaching to upgrade to a diploma qualification. Rhyan delivered the two day workshop.
Alistair travelled to Bahrain to deliver a two day workshop on Coaching for an insurance company.
Working Internationally - Highlights
Daikin
David has been delivering workshops on Performance Review training for Daikin in Weybridge, Bristol, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester.
Competency based interview training at both advanced and basic levels also took place in Weybridge and Birmingham with Alistair.

Alistair has been running workshops for ATR this month in both People Management Training and Recruitment Training in Basingstoke.
WASCO
A one day Telephone sales workshop has been held in Dubai by Alistair.
L&D Network
Atkins hosted this month’s L&D Network at their office in Dubai. Rhyan facilitated the session with the group looking at Talent management including how to attract talent post downturn; developing the talent you currently have (without a massive budget) and the role of the manager in nurturing and retaining talent. The next session is due to take place in December.
Serco
Rhyan has continued with the coaching of the Executive Level Management Team in Dubai.
Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel
Pam conducted the initial interview sessions in readiness for the TQM (Total Quality Management) Workshop which Rhyan ran in Dubai.
ESAB
Rhyan has been providing Customer Service Support to the Belgium team this month and will continue in October with coaching support.
