MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT

  • Created and presented a bespoke action centred Regional Team Management Development Programme targeted at Regional/Area Directors and their direct reports, to support them post organisational structure change
  • Developed and supplied Shared Service Centre Senior Management Training
  • Designed and presented initial Management Development and Sales Development Programmes that were judged to have increased sales and marketing activity and improved team motivation
  • Conducted 121 management coaching sessions with Directors and Managers to address specific learning needs and provide advice and guidance

PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT

  • Developed and delivered Personal Development and Performance Management Review process training incorporating the values programme across UK businesses to improve performance
  • Implemented Personal Development Planning and Performance Management process to help individuals develop their capabilities and address performance issues
  • Developed and applied ongoing evaluation methods for programmes, such as Review Meetings with Managers, that fed back into individual personal development plans

LEADERSHIP AND MOTIVATION

  • Developed key modules on Leadership, Motivation and Managing Performance and presented revised programmes.
  • Achieved re-accreditation as an ILM training centre for a further 4 years
  • Initiated and facilitated a new ILM Certificate in Coaching programme to improve coaching skills of managers

TALENT MANAGEMENT

  • Project managed Career Development Plan (Succession Planning) concept for all regions/divisions of UK Business in conjunction with HR Director
  • Developed local Trainee Manager Programme for Western region and Building Products division that provided coaching advice and support to managers and trainees. First graduate of the programme took up a management position in 2005.
  • Devised and implemented succession planning and development processes, including a database to maintain records of staff development

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Project managed the redesign of internal Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) accredited Management Training Qualifications to improve capability of individuals on programmes to deliver results for the business.

STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT

  • Advised and consulted with Regional/Area Directors and HR Managers in order to develop and implement strategic solutions for their regions/divisions
  • Worked with Directors to identify strategic priorities and provide comprehensive support
  • Developed and built capability through the effective development, implementation, management and evaluation of HRD solutions that support strategic objectives
  • Worked with Managing Director, HR Director, Branch Operations Director and Managed Services Director to identify and understand business needs so that training could be tailored to the strategic objectives of the business

HR PROCESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Initiated and facilitated Induction and Graduate Trainee Programmes that resulted in fee earning consultants within 2 months of attending
  • Designed and delivered basic recruitment skills training including Employment Law
