ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

In Manchester, Students for Cohort 7 of the CHRP programme undertook their final module on Managing Employment Relations over two days.  Their final assessment is due in December to complete the qualification.

 

The Basildon Management Development client has requested further workshops for their Operations Managers with the new group completing Module 1 on Psychology of Management.  The Team Managers returned for Module 2 on Communicating for Positive Impact.

 

A new Leadership Development Programme commenced in Surbiton with the first two modules covering Working with Others and Teams and Managing People.  Modules 3 and 4 will be attended in November.

 

The Manila, Philippines CHRP students returned to their studies this month to complete the modules on Contributing to the Process of Job Analysis and Resourcing Talent.  The workshops were held over four days.

 

Following the success of the Strategic Manager training earlier in the year our London based client has requested a Management Development programme for their employees.  The first module covered Leadership and Management. 

 

Cohort 4 of the London based Management Development programme continued with module 3 on Management Performance to achieve results and a new Cohort 5 started with the Psychology of Management.

An Account Management workshop was held with KMPG in London.  The Service Delivery Manager fed back afterwards saying 'The initial feedback from the team was very positive. There was certainly a buzz in the room and vibe I got was that everyone enjoyed the session.'

Progressive People training has continued with session 6 on Persuasive Presentation Skills in London.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

The qualification programmes have returned to their studies following the summer break.  At Canary Wharf, London, Cohort 7 of the CHRP qualification attended their penultimate workshop on Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management and CHRM Cohort 9 their penultimate workshop on Resourcing and Talent Planning – both where held over two days.

 

In Nottingham, Students for Cohort 8 of the CHRP programme undertook the module on Resourcing Talent which involved a practical skills assessment on the second day.  CHRM Cohort 10 completed their third module on Using Information in HR.

 

The Northern CHRP students attended Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management in Newcastle – they have one module left to complete in November.

The London Management Development programme saw Cohort 4 complete module 2 on Communicating for Positive Impact.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

Conflict Management training continued this month with the workshop being held in Loughborough.

 

The Northern CHRP students attended their Resourcing Talent module in London over two days.  The second day involved a skills based assessment on recruitment and selection interviewing.

 

The London Management Development programme saw a new Cohort 4 start with module 1 on Psychology of Management, whilst Cohort 2 attending module 3 on Managing Performance to achieve results which had been postponed from June.

 

A Working across Cultures workshop was held over two days in Dorking

 

The Croydon Leadership programme delegates returned for the final two modules 5 and 6 on Developing Capability and Context for Change.

 

Following the success of the previous two CHRP qualification programmes in Manila, Philippines, the client has commissioned a third cohort to take place.  This will be split into three one week workshops and the 16 students were keen to start their studies with the modules on Developing yourself as an effective HR practitioner, Recording analysing and using HR information and Understanding organisations and the role of HR.  They will return in October for the second session.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

It’s been a busy month for our qualification programmes.

 

In Nottingham Cohort 8 of the CHRM qualification programme attended their final module on Reward Management.  They will submit their last assessment in July to complete the programme.  Students have said ‘Thank you so much for all your guidance and support. I have really enjoyed my CIPD learning and appreciated your support thoroughly.’ ‘Thank you for sharing all your knowledge, your enthusiasm, providing limitless support and guidance along the way.’  Meanwhile Cohort 8 of the CHRP programme attended their next two workshops on Recording, Analysing and Using HR Information and Understanding Organisations and the Role of HR.

 

In Manchester Cohort 7 of the CHRP qualification programme gathered in Manchester for the module on Resourcing Talent.  On the second day of the workshop the students took part in a practical skills assessment to evaluate their learning of the topic.  Cohort 9 of the CHRM qualification attended their 3rd module on Using Information in HR. Cohort 10 of the CHRM qualification programme returned for module 2 on Business Issues and the Context of HR.

 

Cohort 6 of the CHRP qualification programme successfully completed their final assessment Supporting Good Practice in Managing Employment Relations.  Positive feedback has been received by the Students including ‘I just wanted to say a general thanks for the support you’ve given me over the last few months, I really didn’t know what to expect when I signed up for this, having last studied for something like this about 20 years ago, but thanks to your support and enthusiasm you’ve made a very enjoyable experience.’ ‘Thanks for all your patience and help – I couldn’t have done it without you.’ ‘Thank you so much again for your professional guidance and support… I can’t believe I’m in this place - magic course with fantastic people.’ ‘Thank you so much, especially for all your help and patience I wouldn’t of been able to do this without all your support.’ ‘I’d just like to thank you for all your support during the CIPD course. You really made the sessions enjoyable.’

 

A celebratory event was held in Canary Wharf, London for students who have completed and passed their qualification programmes earlier in the year.

 

The Croydon Leadership programme delegates returned for Modules 3 and 4 on Managing People.  The final two modules will take place in July.

The Consultative Selling workshop was held in Leeds this month for the client.  Some good feedback has been received too from the delegates. ‘It was a useful workshop and established some new tolls for me to engage with clients.’ ‘I enjoyed the session today and picked up a few useful pointers and areas for development.’

Cohort 6 of the CHRP qualification programme attended their final module on Supporting Good Practice in Managing Employment Relations in London over two days.  They will submit their last assessment in June to complete the programme.  One student said ‘Thanks for your help during this course. I have felt very supported by you.’

 

A HR as a Business Partner Workshop was held in Andover for a returning client.

 

The client running Strategic Manager and New Manager training in London asked to extend the programme to include Module 3 on Managements Skills and Module 5 on Coaching and Performance Management respectively.

 

Conflict Management training continued this month with the workshop being held in Swansea for the employees based in that area.

 

The London Management Development programme saw Cohorts 1 (HR & Regional Managers and Cohort 3 (Ops Managers and OSM’s) attending module 3 on Managing Performance to achieve results.

 

The Northern CHRP students attended their second workshop in Telford to undertake units 2 and 3 on Recording, Analysing and Using HR Information and Understanding Organisations and the Role of HR.

 

The Croydon Leadership programme delegates returned for Module 2 on Working with teams. The following feedback was given. ‘I have been on a number of similar courses over many years and I can say with all honesty that yours is good.’

 

A new cohort 10 for the London based qualification programme has started with for the Level 5 Certificate in HR Management.  Module 1 covered Developing Professional Practice in Nottingham.

 

Some positive feedback has been received from students on a recently completed Level 5 qualification programme as follows:

An existing client from 2017 has returned for further Conflict Management training for it’s employees, the first workshop has been held in Loughborough.

 

The London Management Development programme saw Cohorts 1 (HR & Regional Managers) Cohort 2 (Ops Managers) and Cohort 3 (Ops Managers and OSM’s) attending module 2 on Communicating for Positive Impact.

 

Cohort 8 of the CHRM qualification programme returned to London for their penultimate workshop on Resourcing and Talent Planning.

 

A new Leadership programme started this month in Croydon which will continue over the coming months.  The delegates will undertake six modules, the first one covered the topic of Working with others.

 

The Basildon Management Development workshops continued for the Team Managers with module 3 which was on Managing Performance to Achieve Results

 

A new cohort 8 for the London based qualification programme has started with for the Certificate in HR Practice.  Module 1 covered Developing yourself as an Effective HR Practitioner.
