The second and final module of a Management Development programme on Managing Performance was held in London.

 

The London based Management Development programme Cohort 6 continued with Module 2 on Communicating for Positive Impact.

 

Cohort 8 of the CHRP qualification programme completed their final assessment and gave some lovely feedback.  ‘Thank you for your help and support throughout the course, it’s much appreciated.’ ‘Many thanks for all your support through this course.’ ‘Really grateful for all your help and support over the past year.’ ‘Thank you again for all your help, I really enjoyed the course and will hopefully be booking on the level 5 in the near future’ ‘You’ve been fantastic’ ‘Thank you for the feedback and it’s been a pleasure working with you.’

 

A student on the newly started Cohort 11 CHRM qualification programme has been inspired after the first module and said ‘After having the first module in Nottingham and actually believing that I can do this, I have done a lot of thinking and decided that my next career move is into the HRBP area. All aspects of HR interest me and with being a HRBP I am no longer worried about my location, as all large businesses need HRBPs or equivalents. It probably the first time in my career that I have a plan of what I want to do.’

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

An Effective Stakeholder Management workshop was held in London for a returning client.

 

CHRM 10 returned for their penultimate module on Resourcing and Talent Planning and CHPR 8 completed their final module on Managing Employee Relations over two days in Nottingham.

 

Three new qualification programmes also started this month in Nottingham for our ongoing client.  A Level 5 CHRM Apprenticeship and CHRM Cohort 11 both of which had their introduction and Developing Professional Practice workshops.  The Level 3 CHRP Cohort 9 completed their first module on Developing Yourself as an Effective HR Practitioner.

 

A guest speaker slot at a Talent Management event in Taunton was delivered by Alistair for a old client.

 

The London based Management Development programme started a new Cohort 6  with Module 1 on Psychology of Management in London.

 

We received some great feedback from qualification programmes that finished ‘Thank you so much for all your support. I couldn't have got through the last 14 months without you. The final 2018 Progressive People Session 8 was held in London and the Virtuoso People workshops continued with feedback of ‘Thanks for today it was really useful,’ ‘Excellent course yesterday; really informative and interesting, particularly the psychology side.‘  A further Blue Sheet training workshop was also held.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

It’s been a busy month for the qualification programmes, two of which have completed their final modules namely CHRM Cohort 9 with Reward Management and the Northern CHRP with Supporting Good Practice in Managing Employment Relations.  Workshops were held in Nottingham and London respectively.  Meanwhile, CHRP Cohort 8 attended their penultimate workshop on Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management in Nottingham.  All workshops were held over two days.  One of the students said afterwards ‘Thanks for the past couple of days really enjoyed it and looking forward to the employee relations session.’

 

Students from CHRP Cohort 7 who completed their final assessment fed back to say ‘Thank you again for all the support you have given during the course.  It has made the return to study so much easier than it could have been.’ ‘Thank you so much for all your help throughout CHRP.’ ‘Thanks for making the course interesting and relevant to my job and the challenges I’ve got ahead.’ ‘I’d like to say a big thank you again for all of your help and support throughout the course, especially during the difficulties I've faced personally during that time, it really is much appreciated.’

 

The client also held a Celebration in London for those students who have successfully passed their qualification from earlier cohorts.

 

Cohort 5 of the London based Management Development programme returned for Module 2 on Communicating with Positive Impact.

 

The Surbiton Leadership Development Programme continued with Module 3 on Managing Performance and Module 4 on Coaching and Mentoring.

 

The Basildon Management Development Cohort 2 continued with the Operations Managers attending Module 2 on Communicating for Positive Impact.  The Team Managers completed their final Module 3 on Managing Performance to Achieve Results.

A series of workshops were held in November for Guidant including Unconscious Bias Train the Trainer with the feedback of ‘Just wanted to say a big thank you for yesterday’s Unconscious Bias session – I enjoyed it so much! Was a great day and definitely opened my eyes onto my automatic inner thoughts which are now being reviewed…!!  I think that if the business embraces this as a concept we will make great strides in hiring talent that maybe currently overlooked!’

 

Progressive People continued with Session 7.

 

Blue Sheet Training with feedback of ‘Thanks for a really useful session’ and Thanks I really enjoyed the day.’

 

A new programme called Virtuoso People which is designed to help Guidant employees build the critical capabilities that they need to take the business to the next level.  Feedback ‘Thanks very much, it’s going to be very useful both for work and deciding what to do on the weekends!’

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

In Manchester, Students for Cohort 7 of the CHRP programme undertook their final module on Managing Employment Relations over two days.  Their final assessment is due in December to complete the qualification.

 

The Basildon Management Development client has requested further workshops for their Operations Managers with the new group completing Module 1 on Psychology of Management.  The Team Managers returned for Module 2 on Communicating for Positive Impact.

 

A new Leadership Development Programme commenced in Surbiton with the first two modules covering Working with Others and Teams and Managing People.  Modules 3 and 4 will be attended in November.

 

The Manila, Philippines CHRP students returned to their studies this month to complete the modules on Contributing to the Process of Job Analysis and Resourcing Talent.  The workshops were held over four days.

 

Following the success of the Strategic Manager training earlier in the year our London based client has requested a Management Development programme for their employees.  The first module covered Leadership and Management. 

 

Cohort 4 of the London based Management Development programme continued with module 3 on Management Performance to achieve results and a new Cohort 5 started with the Psychology of Management.

An Account Management workshop was held with KMPG in London.  The Service Delivery Manager fed back afterwards saying 'The initial feedback from the team was very positive. There was certainly a buzz in the room and vibe I got was that everyone enjoyed the session.'

Progressive People training has continued with session 6 on Persuasive Presentation Skills in London.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

The qualification programmes have returned to their studies following the summer break.  At Canary Wharf, London, Cohort 7 of the CHRP qualification attended their penultimate workshop on Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management and CHRM Cohort 9 their penultimate workshop on Resourcing and Talent Planning – both where held over two days.

 

In Nottingham, Students for Cohort 8 of the CHRP programme undertook the module on Resourcing Talent which involved a practical skills assessment on the second day.  CHRM Cohort 10 completed their third module on Using Information in HR.

 

The Northern CHRP students attended Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management in Newcastle – they have one module left to complete in November.

 

The Basildon Management Development client has requested further workshops for their Team Managers with the new group completing Module 1 on Psychology of Management.

 

The London Management Development programme saw Cohort 4 complete module 2 on Communicating for Positive Impact.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

Conflict Management training continued this month with the workshop being held in Loughborough.

 

The Northern CHRP students attended their Resourcing Talent module in London over two days.  The second day involved a skills based assessment on recruitment and selection interviewing.

 

The London Management Development programme saw a new Cohort 4 start with module 1 on Psychology of Management, whilst Cohort 2 attending module 3 on Managing Performance to achieve results which had been postponed from June.

 

A Working across Cultures workshop was held over two days in Dorking

 

The Croydon Leadership programme delegates returned for the final two modules 5 and 6 on Developing Capability and Context for Change.

 

Following the success of the previous two CHRP qualification programmes in Manila, Philippines, the client has commissioned a third cohort to take place.  This will be split into three one week workshops and the 16 students were keen to start their studies with the modules on Developing yourself as an effective HR practitioner, Recording analysing and using HR information and Understanding organisations and the role of HR.  They will return in October for the second session.
