ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

Module 2 of the Management Development programme for a returning London based client concluded this month.

 

A new Managing Conflict programme has started for a client in Loughborough with further workshops scheduled over the coming months.

 

A 10 day Talent Management programme for a delegation of Indonesian nationals took place in London including two site visits to major Public Service companies to enable the delegates to experience talent management practices within those organisations. 

 

During the course of the programme various topics were covered including Understanding the principles of talent management, Context and strategy, Attraction and identification of talent, Engagement and management of talent, Succession planning, Development processes, Career management including development paths and implementation, The use of information technology in support of talent management systems, The use of HR analytics and Implementing succession planning and talent management strategies.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

An existing London based client has returned for a further training programme this time on Management Development.  Module 2 will be completed in August.

 

The Management Development programme concluded with Module 3 for the Northern Region on Managing Performance to Achieve Results in Darlington and the South West Region in Bristol.

 

Following the completion of the final assessment for the London based CHRM cohort 6 on Reward Management and completion of the programme we received the following feedback from the students:

 

‘Thanks again for all your support - very much appreciated and I'm definitely looking forward to the graduation now.’ ‘Thanks for all your help over the course. I know from my end I have found your help and support invaluable and me passing is down to you.  We have been very very lucky to have you as our tutor.’ ‘I wanted to say a big thank you for your support teaching and help. I have really enjoyed the course and learned a lot.  It's really opened up the HR world for me and confirmed HR is where I want to work, maybe higher up, but in HR.’

A new Team Building Workshop has been held for the client in London with some positive feedback received.

 

‘Just wanted to say a big thank you for yesterday’s Team Building day – it was great!  I really felt like it got everyone thinking on how we interact with each other and to be much more mindful on how our actions/behaviours affect others. Looking forward to seeing some positive changes in the office!’

Talent Management for the Directorate Leadership Team was held in Stafford.  The client took time to give the following feedback. ‘We feel we had a really good day and the feedback has been very positive. I think we achieved our aims of developing a better understanding of what talent management means for us, some of our key priorities and the collective effort needed to drive this huge agenda forward. Thank you!’

 

A returning London client held a workshop on Workforce Planning over two days.

 

The Management Development programme continues with Module 2 for the Northern Region on Communicating for Positive Impact in Darlington and Module 3 for London Cohort 2 on Managing Performance to Achieve Results.

 

The second and final module of a Re-energise your Management was held in Andover.

 

The qualification programmes for our London based client have been in full swing this month with the CHRM cohort 6 completing their final module on Reward Management in London.  The CHRP cohort 5 attended the modules on Recording, Analysing and using HR Information and Understanding Organisations and the Role of HR in Nottingham and CHRM cohort 7 their second module on Business Issues and the Context of HR in Manchester.  All workshops were held over two days

 

Some lovely feedback has been received from CHRP cohort 4 following the completion of their final assessment. ‘Thank you so much for all your support over the last 9 months, you've been fantastic!!’ ‘Thank you for your support on my final assignment and throughout the course.’ ‘Thanks for all of your support and help during the programme.  You are great tutor.’ ‘I really wouldn’t have been able to do it without your fab support and enthusiasm. Not only have I benefitted from undertaking the course itself but I really enjoyed the whole experience.’

 

An Improving the Interview Process was held in Bristol over two days for a new client.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

A celebratory event was held for students from our London based CHRM/CHRP programmes who have successfully completed the qualifications.  The CHRP Cohort 4 students attended their final module in Manchester on Managing Employee Relations.  Their final assessment is due on 7th June.

 

The Management Development programme continues with a wrap up session for the first London group on West Drayton, Module 1 for the Northern Region on Psychology of Management in Darlington and Module 2 for the South West Region in Droitwich Spa on Communicating for Positive Impact.

 

The first module of a Re-energise your management workshop was held in Andover for a client, the second module will take place in June.

The London based HMRC CHRM Cohort 6 continued this month with the module on Resourcing and Talent Planning in Nottingham over the course of two days.

 

The London Cohort 2 Management Development programme completed Module 2 on Communicating for Positive Impact in West Drayton.

 

The students on the Manila CHRP programme have finished their final assessments and all passed – subject to external verification.  Many positive comments have been received following the completion of their final assessment here are a few: Thank you for all the lessons I have learned from the programme.’ ‘Thank you for guiding me through the programme.’ ‘Thank you for your encouragement and valuable guidance throughout the course.’ ‘Millions of thanks for all your guidance and tutoring! Two new qualification programmes have started for our London based client.  CHRP Cohort 5 and CHRM Cohort 7 – both workshops were held in Nottingham.  The CHRP group completed Developing yourself as an Effective HR Practitioner and the CHRM group Developing Professional Practice.

ALR working with CIPD Enterprises – Highlights

 

The London based CHRM Cohort 5 completed their final workshop this month on Reward Management – the two day workshop was held in Manchester.  The students successfully passed their final assessments which will now await moderation.  One of the students said ‘Thank you for the fantastic support you have given to a mature student. It’s been emotional. I particularly enjoyed the workshops and the many interesting conversations we had that helped us all link our learning to real world and our organisation’s HR Management issues.’

 

Final workshops were held over two weeks for the Manila client with the Level 5 CHRM programme cohort completing the units on Managing and Co-ordinating the HR Function and Reward Management.  The Level 3 CHRP cohort completed Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management and Supporting Change within Organisations.  Both groups will complete their final assessments in early May.

 

Cohort 4 of the London based CHRP programme completed Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward over two days Manchester which included an activity based skills assessment.

 

The Southern Region Management Development programme completed Module 1 on the Psychology of Management in Bristol.
